Large moths

May 2008

As you can see from the photo we have some very large moths here, this one is almost the size of my hand.

This one is dead and is the second one to be found this way over the last couple of weeks, we are not sure why.

  4. I had one fluttering against my window pane last night trying to get to the light. It was still on the window the next morning so I took a picture and then did a google search to try and find out what it was. Voila! A Giant Peacock Moth! Thanks a lot!

  8. Taken photo of large Giant Peacock Moth on visit to see Daughter in a little village called Moussac in the Viennes area. Never seen anything like it before.
