End of Year Progress Report
November 2005

Kitchen, Nov 2005
The typical French country cottage cuisine. With the log fire in place we’re ready for the winter now.

Kitchen through the year
Over the year, we’ve taken the bare walls of the south wing and plastered them, fitted kitchen cabinets and, of course, all the modern appliances you would expect. Quite an improvement!

Utility Room through the year
You wouldn’t believe it was the same room. We’ve knocked a door through where before there was only a set of shelves (left; note the glass bricks, which let through extra light to the new bathroom) and taken out the old bathroom fittings to replace them with essential modern appliances. Now, at last, a place to keep the dogs when they return from a day’s digging with the muddiest feet.

Bathroom through the year
The new bathroom suite not only promises the indulgent soaking away of DIY aches and pains, but is also a lot brighter. Quite a change from the rather weak shower we had to rely on before.
